Gugulethu Mbatha (better called Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British film and stage actress known for her role in the film industry for her role in the BBC show "Doctor Who", a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu had a massive success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu's audience loved her spontaneity and she was soon in the process of establishing a long-lasting acting career. Her other stage and TV shows in Britain include many others. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 75th, 1975, in Livingston, New Jersey. She was one of the six youngest children. Handler's mother worked as a housekeeper and her father was employed as a used-car dealer. Her mother immigrated to America in 1958 after emigrating from Germany. After ten long years of fighting breast cancer, Handler passed away in 1989. Handler is a Reform Jew, and her father was Jewish. Handler lived in a great community with a wonderful upbringing. At the age of 19 she relocated from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting profession. Handler began acting in order to earn income. But, at aged 21, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full-time, since she discovered her storytelling skills. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly, a reality show with a hidden-camera/practical joke. The show ran on air from 2002 to 2005. The handler went on to work in numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Handler achieved her first big break in 2006 when she hosted her own E! show. named The Chelsea Handler Show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have broadcast Handler's standup performance. Her name was chosen to host the MTV's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. The only woman ever to host the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
