Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash (born February 4, 1983) is an Canadian comedian and actress based in Los Angeles, but originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known among the public for her performance in Superstore as Dina Fox. Ash is a grad of Second City Toronto Mainstage, and Second City Chicago mainstage. Ash is also part of the comedy duo "Cory!" She is a twice Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007 and was also awarded Best Performance by a Female Television in the film Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015, she won the award for Best Female Performance in an Feature Film in her role as Carol in the movie Dirty Singles. She was also a guest on the prank-show "Scare Techniques". Lauren runs her own podcast "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside Christy Oxborrow.
